Co-founder Todd Beard was announced today to have resigned as an employee for the company. The Board of Directors at Affliction Inc. acknowledged receiving and accepting Mr. Beard’s resignation.
Subsequently this happened the day after Kim Couture established a restraining order against Mr. Beard of Affliction Inc. Coincident? Probably not!
Excerpts from the press release –
“The resignation coincides with a public apology for comments made by Mr. Beard and directed toward Randy Couture and his wife Kim Couture regarding their business relationship.”
“The Board of directors of Affliction Inc. also wanted to clarify that Affliction Entertainment Group LLC. (the promotion company) is not controlled by Affliction Inc. Mr. Beard to its knowledge, is nether an officer, director, or a shareholder of Affliction Entertainment Group LLC. as stated in several periodicals.”
Bad publicity is the last thing Affliction Inc. is looking for.

Bad publicity is GOOD publicity. Affliction is getting posted in tons of websites across the globe. Someone in the marketing department just got a raise.
Btw, Affliction Inc may not control AEG, but you know they are involved/invested and so is Mr. Beard. How else would he know Kim Couture?
