Probably not - but I think it will come in a close second as the Nogueira vs. Mir match-up will determine Brock Lesnar’s next victim on his way to becoming MMA’s next legend.  UFC 92 takes place December 27 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.   If you are lucky, perhaps Santa will stick a few tickets in your stocking or a gift certificate for pay-per-view.  This is one gift even the naughty kids should get.

The Main Card is set:

  • Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (#2 Heavyweight in the World)* vs. Frank Mir
  • Forrest Griffin (#1 Light Heavyweight in the World)* vs. Rashad Evans (#4 Light Heavyweight in the World)*
  • Quinton Jackson (#2 Light Heavyweight in the World)* vs. Wanderlei Silva (#6 Light Heavyweight in the World)*
  • Mustapha Al-Turk vs. Cheick Kongo
  • C.B. Dollaway vs. Mike Massenzio

Prelims and lucky to make it on pay-per-view:

  • Yushin Okami (#6 Middleweight in the World)* vs. Dean Lister
  • Matt Hamill vs. Reese Andy
  • Ryo Chonan vs. Brad Blackburn
  • Antoni Hardonk vs. Mark Burch
  • Pat Barry vs. Dan Evensen

Pretty decent line-up if you ask me.   Let me know who you like?

On paper, 92 looks way better than 91, but 91 came hard. It’s going to be tough to follow 91, but the 92 card is stacked and I think it could be even better than 91 was. I’m taking Nogueira, Griffin and Silva.
