With the UFC grabbing most of the headlines recently, mini-UFC (WEC) has not been getting a lot of attention lately, which I guess explains why when they let go one of their champions hardly a mention of it was released.  Thanks to MMA Junkie, the story was not completely lost and with any luck for the WEC and perhaps even the UFC, Filho will overcome his personal issues, decide to take a road less travelled and fight his way back to the top once again.   (does anyone else hear the theme to Rocky playing right now?)
