Shortly after Cro Cop’s refute against Dana White’s and UFC accusations, he moved forward to ink a deal with Dream in hopes of more fights than the UFC was offering. He was to fight in Japan as soon as July 20 at Dream 10.

According to Croatian news website index.hr, Mirko ‘Cro Cop’ Filipovic has been hospitalized for the text book symptoms of Salmonella. These symptoms include high temperature, diarrhea and stomach pain.

When Cro Cop signed with Dream in hopes of more fights, I don’t think he had any plans for this misfortune, which might potentially jeopardize his July 20 bout at Dream 10 against ‘Mighty Mo’ Siligia.
