Following the captivating WEC interim lightweight title match between Benson Henderson and Donald Cerrone, WEC’s featherweight champion and current pound-for-pound stud Mike Thomas Brown will be vying to successfully defend his 145-pound strap for the third time as he will welcome Brazil’s Jose Aldo at WEC 44 on Nov. 18 from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

Former UFC employees Leonard Garcia and Manny Gamburyan will serve as the co-main event in a featherweight tilt. “Razor” Rob McCullough will seek to build upon his March victory as he battles Karen Darabedyan. Danny Castillo, Alex Karalexis, and Cub Swanson will also be on display on the Versus broadcast. Check out the official WEC 44 “Brown vs. Aldo” video below.

If the UFC keeps putting on snoozer fights, Zuffa may have to promote the WEC to PPV. Brown vs Aldo will be an exciting fight.
