Gegard Mousasi, who is only 24 years of age, is known as”The Dreamcatcher” because he wants to capture the Middleweight, Light Heavyweight, and Heavyweight titles. With a record of 29-2, he no doubt already has the resume to achieve such a feat, however I think Fedor Emelianenko may have to retire before he is able to get this hat trick. When asked about possibly fighting Fedor, Mousasi has already said he has no desire to go toe to toe with his mentor and part-time training partner.
Mousasi’s next fight will be on November 7, as he takes on Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou in a non-title match at Strikeforce’s CBS Saturday Night Fights featuring Fedor Emelianenko vs Brett Rogers.
If you have never the Fedor-esque Mousasi fight before, check out this hi-lite reel.
