“It’s the past. I have to turn the page.”

Those are the words from UFC heavyweight Cheick Kongo regarding his fight with the undefeated Cain Velasquez at UFC 99 back in June.

Kongo endured three rounds of punishment at the hands of Velasquez. The decision loss shattered the Paris native’s three-fight winning streak and any hopes of challenging for the heavyweight title in the near future.

Now, Kongo will look to use Frank Mir as a platform to put him back in the mix for Brock Lesnar’s heavyweight belt. Watch as the 230-pound Frenchman vocalizes his annoyance, as well as his plans for Mir when the two collide at UFC 107 on Dec. 12 from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN.
