With 17,831 in attendance, UFC 110 in Sydney, Australia qualified for the largest UFC crowd outside the US, and the fighters responded with a great night of fights.

Without a doubt, the hi-lite of the night was Cain Velasquez putting the rest of the Heavyweight division on notice with a dominating performance over Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.  Cain needed only 2:20 to find Nog’s weakness standing up,  knocking him to the ground where he followed with a vicious ground and pound leaving the former Pride Superstar looking at stars in the dark.  The UFC brass were so impressed that Cain earned KO of the Night and an extra $50k.

In other action, Wanderlei Silva edged out Michael Bisping, disappointing to say the least as Bisping has already started running his mouth about how he believes he won the fight.  Where is Hendo when you need him.  Australia’s own George Sotiropoulos upset Joe Stevenson in a unanimous decision and both fighters picked up the coveted Fight of the Night Bonus.  Chris Lytle earned Submission of the Night with a knee bar on Brian Foster early in the first round.
